WHO ARE WE
Zoe Graduated from Monash University in 2018 and has worked as a Private Practice Physiotherapist at Platinum Physiotherapy in Windsor since August 2019. As a teenager, Zoe spent most of her waking minutes playing Basketball at a State Level, but also enjoyed Tennis, Swimming and her one season of AFL at school where she still talks about that time she kicked a bag of 4 goals on the Skolnick oval. Unfortunately, Zoe's sporting career was filled with many ups and downs, having had 3 ACL knee reconstructions and multiple other surgeries. This ultimately helped her find her passion as a physio and definitely assists in understanding how to exercise with an injury.
Away from Physio Zoe enjoys travelling, hiking, reading and attempting to play the guitar and piano

Tamar
Tamar Graduated from Monash University in 2017 and has worked at The Joint Physio in Caulfield since her Graduation, as both a Private Practice Physio and Practice Manager. As if she wasn't busy enough, in 2022 Tamar also started her own business in Practice Management Consulting - Tagence. As a youngster, Tamar was a state level Gymnast and dabbler in all forms of activity and as a young adult a state 1 Soccer Player. Her Gymnastics ultimately led to a severe and unfortunate back injury at the age of 16, so she is well versed in the physical and psychological effects of injury on those who love to exercise.
Away from her busy work life, Tamar enjoys being an auntie, hiking (name me a physio who doesn't), camping, reading, cooking and gardening. She would like to have it known that she does not enjoy drinking tea.
What We Do
At Two Classy Physios we get to do what we do best:
-
Attend fitness classes and
-
Review them from two physiotherapists' perspectives.
Using our 5 star criteria, that takes into consideration enjoyment, cost, customer experience, effectiveness and safety, we analyse all aspects of the class so that our followers and podcast listeners can choose a gym or fitness program that is best suited to them. Have you ever wondered if trying bunjee fitness, row-formers, cycle dance or jazz-ercise is an effective, fun and safe form of exercise? Well we are here to try it for you first and give you all the pros and cons!
FITNESS IS OUR PASSION
OUR 5 Star Criteria
1. FUN!
Did we leave this gym wanting more? Did we frequently laugh and smile throughout? Did we leave in a good mood? This section rates the class on the ‘enjoyability’ factor. Yes, we know that is subjective, so take our word for it!
-
⭐ From the minute we started to the minute the class finished, we couldn’t wait to get out of there!
-
⭐⭐We didn’t hate it, but we also wouldn’t be rushing back
-
⭐⭐⭐ We enjoyed the class, but we also found ourselves looking at the clock every 10 minutes to see when it would be over. We’d be happy to go again but also wouldn’t be too upset if this was our first and final time.
-
⭐⭐⭐⭐ It was a very enjoyable experience. We’d definitely go again, but also weren't too upset when the clock struck time to finish.
-
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We constantly laughed, smiled and frankly they had to drag us out kicking and screaming when it was over
2. Cost
In this section we look at the average cost per week or per class and compare this to industry averages and value for money
-
⭐ $150+ per week or $70+ per class
-
⭐⭐ $100-150 per week or $45-70 per class
-
⭐⭐⭐ $50-100 per week or $25-45 per class
-
⭐⭐⭐⭐ $20-50 per week or $10-25 per class
-
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ $10-20 per week or $0-10per class
3. Customer Experience
From the website to the booking process, to orientation, environment and more, in this section we review all aspects of customer experience. Did we feel comfortable on entry? Was the space a nice location for a workout? Would we put pictures up on our inspo wall? Find out here. Aspects of customer experience include website information, booking process, ease of finding location, warm orientation and gym/class environment. We deduct one star if there are ‘red flags’ in any of these areas.
4. Accurate to description and effectiveness
In this section, we rate the classes based on if they are actually achieving the type of fitness that the company claims to be achieving, as well as if this is a useful and efficient way to be gaining this type of fitness. For example, if the class claims to be a “strength class”, however is actually more focused on running laps, they would be marked down. But similarly, if they claimed to work on ‘cardio’ but I’d get more of a workout with 10 minutes of skipping at home, they would also be marked down.
-
⭐ 0-20% accurate to description and not effective in achieving this form of fitness
-
⭐⭐ 20-40% accurate to description and not very effective in achieving this form of fitness
-
⭐⭐⭐ 40-60% accurate to description and somewhat effective at achieving this form of fitness
-
⭐⭐⭐⭐ 60-80% accurate to description and effective at achieving this form of fitness
-
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 100% accurate to description and the most effective way to achieve this form of fitness
5. Accessibility and Safety
To score 5 stars in this section, the class need to be well thought out for it's intended population group. We take into consideration who the classes is marketed towards understanding that not every class can be safe for everyone, however the instructors need to be well trained and have the ability to watch lots of people at once
-
⭐ You are likely to hurt yourself or someone else by attending this class
-
⭐⭐ We might have left this place scott free but we feel if we attended on a weekly basis we'd be calling into the physio every other week
-
⭐⭐⭐ You can probably attend regularly with a low risk of aquiring an injury if you're switched on, have good body awareness and don't take any un-due risks.
-
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Few good things come without any risk risk, but we feel you can attend this class on a weekly basis with a low risk of aquiring an injury.
-
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ There is basically no risk at all associated with attending this class.
